Bird flu was detected in the Chelyabinsk region

As the first vice-governor of the Chelyabinsk region Andrei Gasilov, on Saturday and Sunday in the village, said on Monday, 60 birds.

The presence of bird flu virus in dead birds is confirmed by appropriate studies.

For preventive purposes in Oktyabrsky, another 400 poultry were scored, including 270 chickens, 60 ducks and 70 geese.

A sanitary inspectioner was organized in the area, the conditions for the face of the bird were created. In the Oktyabrsky district, quarantine was announced. "The bird's slaughter does not mean that the whole bird will be destroyed in a row. The veterinarians will strictly monitor the fact of the disease of the bird, and only after that the bird will be destroyed," Gasilov said.

Earlier, bird flu was detected in the Novosibirsk, Omsk, Kurgan, Tyumen regions, in the Altai Territory.
