Tiger bites a 17-year-old girl in a private American menagerie

In the American state of Kansas, a 17-year-old girl died as a result of an attack by the Bengal Tiger. This happened in a private menagerie of a scream at the moment when the girl posed for a photo with the animal, CNN reports.

The service of the sheriff of the Labetta district reported that the deceased girl from the city of Altamont was called Haley Hilderbrand. Everything happened unexpectedly. The girl was photographed with a 7-year-old tiger, which his tamer held on a leash, when the animal suddenly turned around and jumped on the girl.

The police officers and tamers who arrived at the scene killed a tiger. Doctors could not save the injured girl.

Dug Billingley and his family opened a private menagerie in 1994. Lions, leopards, tigers and bears lived in it.

The possessor owners do not comment on what happened.
