Lebedev may leave the punishment cell

On Thursday, the stay of the head of the MFI Menatep Plato Lebedev in the Kartser of the investigative insulator expires. On August 19, Lebedev was transferred from the common chamber of the pre -trial detention center to a frame for a period of seven days.

"Such a decision was made by the chief of the insulator. This was caused by Lebedev’s violation of the established regime and rudeness to the insulator administration," said the representative of the Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN).

The representative of the FSIN said that the maximum term on which they can be placed in a punishment cell from a pre -trial detention center is 10 days, but Lebedev will spend seven days in it, Interfax reports.

“Disciplinary punishment - placing in a frame for a period of seven days - was imposed by the head of the investigative insulator for refusing to go out for a walk, which is a violation of the internal regulations of the investigative insulator,” the press service of the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Russian Federation in Moscow said on Wednesday.

The press service emphasized that "there are no restrictions on meetings with lawyers in the persons held in Kartsere, also prisoners have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the materials of the criminal case."

On Wednesday, the deadline dedicated to Lebedev to familiarize himself with the protocol of the court session ended. On the same day, it became known that the philistine court of Moscow refused Lebedev and his protection in extending the terms of familiarization with these protocols.

Meanwhile, according to Elena Lipzer, lawyer Lebedeva, her client filed comments to the Meshchansky court to the minutes of the court hearings. “We handed over to the special unit of the insulator to the minutes on the protocols on behalf of Lebedev,” Lipzer said, emphasizing that this was done at the appointed time.

The lawyers of Mikhail Khodorkovsky reported that the ex-head of Yukos began a hunger strike in a pre-trial detention center in solidarity with his friend Lebedev. Lawyer Yuri Schmidt suggested that his client would continue the hunger strike until Lebedev leaves the cache.

Meanwhile, the Moscow Administration of the Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN) did not confirm the messages of lawyers on the announcement of the hunger strike Khodorkovsky, located in the pre -trial detention center.

"We do not have such information, Khodorkovsky regularly receives food parcels and eats food," said the representative of the metropolitan administration of the FSIN on Wednesday, which is in charge of the SIZO "sailor silence".

The Meshchansky court of Moscow sentenced Khodorkovsky and Lebedev to nine years in prison, but the sentence has not yet entered into legal force, since the defense of the ex-head of the Yukos appealed the sentence in the cassation instance.

The court found on May 31 Khodorkovsky and Lebedev guilty of double fraud (Article 159), in the fact that they organized a malicious non -fulfillment by employees of the commercial organization of the court’s decision (Article 315). In addition, the court considered that both defendants committed a crime under Article 165 - causing large property damage to the owners without signs of theft, they also organized evasion of taxes from organizations in a particularly large amount of payment not by money, but by bills (Article 199).

According to the verdict, Khodorkovsky and Lebedev themselves, as individuals, evaded taxes (article 198) and did not pay income tax and contributions to extrabudgetary funds: Khodorkovsky in the amount of more than 54.5 million rubles, and Lebedev for more than 7 million rubles.
