The Pope urged believers to unite against violence

The Pope Benedict XVI today expressed condolences to Iraqi Shiites in connection with the death of more than a thousand people during the religious ceremony at the mosque in Baghdad. The head of the Roman Catholic Church called on all believers in a single god to unite against violence.
