Director of the Moscow kindergarten detained for a bribe

The director of the Moscow kindergarten was detained for a bribe, a woman was charged with extorting money for registering a child in the garden.

According to the capital’s control against economic crimes, the operatives of the Service for Combating the Service Crimes of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Central Administrative District detained the director of the kindergarten N 1786, located in Bolshoi Trekhogorny Lane, Natalia Arbatova upon receipt of a bribe.

A Muscovite, who said that Arbatova extorted a bribe for registering a child in kindergarten, turned to the Central Administration of the Central Administrative District. This information was confirmed during operational-search measures.

It turned out that the director of the kindergarten for a long time demanded from parents for enrolling their children from $ 1,000 and above, as well as a monthly payment of more than $ 200 per child, Interfax reports.

To receive money, Arbatov developed a special scheme. She registered the so -called "social protection fund" under the garden. The director announced to her parents that the money they paid to this fund went to the development of the garden. Meanwhile, as investigators established, Arbatova registered several one-day companies according to the lost documents and transferred money to them from the fund accounts.

A special operation was developed to detain the director. During the negotiations, which were recorded by the operatives on the tape recorder, the woman who reported extortion agreed with Arbatova on the installment plan. When transferring 18 thousand rubles, the director was detained.

After that, most of the parents wrote to the police a statement that Arbatova received money from them. The director of the kindergarten was charged under Part 2 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (bribe).
