Moscow authorities will test domestic anti -icing reagents on drivers

The Moscow authorities plan to experimentally select the optimal anti -icing composition from domestic reagents in winter. This is stated in the resolution signed by the mayor of Moscow on the readiness of the city for winter.

"The upcoming winter in Moscow will be carried out experimental work using domestic types of anti -icing materials of acetate and formal groups, calcium chloride with the selection of the optimal content of the percentage of the main substance, taking into account the environmental, technological and financial components," RIA Novosti said in the city administration.

According to the interlocutor of the agency, the resolution notes that "the capital in the intended dates was fully prepared for work in the winter period of 2005-2006."

“At the same time, in the course of preparing the city for winter, the implementation of production programs was complicated by the conditions for the restructuring of the energy complex of the Moscow region, the uneven receipt of financial resources in energy supplying enterprises, as well as a significant increase in the number of engineering energy supply facilities transferred into operation to specialized organizations,” the city hall said.

He explained that the document provides for comprehensive measures to ensure the reliable functioning of the fuel and energy and housing and communal services this winter. "In particular, prefectures and departments are instructed to complete the insulation of buildings, adjusting heating systems, closing enters, attic and cellars," the representative of the city administration said.

In addition, according to him, in each area of ​​the city, mobile brigades are organized to remove snow and ice from the roofs and cornices of buildings, and the snow storage sites are created. Measures are especially stipulated to ensure uninterrupted traffic in the city, including the issues of cleaning streets and roads.
