Ovchinnikov went to Dynamo after Semin

The goalkeeper of the Russian national team and the Moscow Lokomotiv Sergey Ovchinnikov will spend the next two seasons in the Dynamo Moscow. A 35-year-old goalkeeper signed a contract with the club as a free agent, according to UEFA.com with reference to a source in the snow-white camp.

For Ovchinnikov, the transition to Dynamo is a return to the origins. He graduated from the football school of this particular club in 1988, after which he was invited to Dynamo’s duplicate composition. But the young goalkeeper failed to break into the main team, and in 1991 he went to Lokomotiv, who entered the Major League of the USSR.

In Lokomotiv, Ovchinnikov spent 11 seasons, protecting its colors in 1991-1997 and 2002-2005. During the break, the goalkeeper played in Portugal in Benfica, Alverke and Porto.

In the championship of the country, Ovchinnikov spent 295 matches. As part of Lokomotiv, he twice became the champion of Russia, repeatedly won medals and became the winner of the Russian Cup.
