Khristenko: The first of January in any option will come

Russia offered Ukraine gas at $ 220-230 per thousand cubic meters and will not make other offers for the price, said the head of the Ministry of Industry of the Russian Federation Viktor Khristenko, RIA Novosti reports. "Russia presented its proposals to Ukraine. We sent them draft agreements and contracts regarding export and gas transit. Russia will not have other proposals," Khristenko said to reporters today.

The Russian minister called on the Ukrainian side "clearly adhere to negotiation processes." He also added that "the first of January in any option will come, regardless of anything, and on the first of January, the Russian gas corporation will be guided solely to what it has the right to, what is presented in contracts today."
