Moscow "Dynamo" began its performance at the hockey Cup of European Champions in St. Petersburg with a victory over the Bratislavsky "Slovan". On Thursday, wards of Vladimir Krikunov won with a score of 3: 1. The pucks of the winners were thrown by Mikhail Grabovsky (twice) and Albert Vishnyakov.
Dynamo was especially the first period when they transferred the opponent with a score of 11: 2. As RIA Novosti notes, the Slovaks did not have time for the players of the Russian team and were often forced to folate: Slovan’s hockey players had a fine of 18 minutes only in the starting period.
The victory was given by the current Russian champions at a high price: in the 36th minute of the match, Vitaly Yeremeyev received a heavy injury. After consultations with Dynamo doctors, the team mentor Vladimir Krikunov said that at least a month and a half would take the treatment of such an injury. Thus, Yeremeyev will not be able to play for the national team of Kazakhstan at the Olympic Games in Turin.
“Yeremeyev looked great in the last matches of the championship of the country,” Krikunov quoted ITAR -TASS. “Let me remind you that he literally pulled out the club last spring to the championship title. Vitaly won brilliantly today. We all counted on it very much in St. Petersburg. Most likely, we will send Yeremeyev again to Germany, where he was in one of the clinics at one time already treated the same thing. The impression is such that the relapse of the damage has now made it possible.
