Sanctic Demchenko won silver

Albert Demchenko won a silver medal at the Olympics in Turin. According to the amount of four attempts, he lost 0.11 seconds to Italian Armin Tsoggler.

Earlier on Sunday, the Russians won the first medals for the team at these Olympic Games. Evgeny Dementiev won the "gold" in the skiing 30-kilometer duatlon (15 kilometers of the "classics" and 15 skate style). He was ahead of 0.6 seconds of the silver medalist Frude Estil from Norway.
