The head of the Palestinian National Administration (PNU) Mahmoud Abbas rejected today the political program of the radical Palestinian movement "Hamas", proposed for the formation of a new government. This document was represented by one of the leaders of the radicals - Ismail Hania, to whom Abbas instructed the creation of an office.
According to sources in the PNU, the reason for this decision was "the unclearness of some main political points that must comply with the requirements of the international community, as well as the obligations of the organization of the liberation of Palestine and the program of Abbas itself." The same sources report that the head of PNU gave Khania for two weeks to develop a new political program of the government.
Earlier today, "Hamas" gave the parties presented in the Palestinian parliament for two days to decide whether they would enter the government formed by Khania. It was noted that the political program of the future office is not subject to discussion.
