Valuev will enter the ring in early June

Russian Waluev will hold his first protection champion WBA in heavyweight. This date was officially confirmed by the boxer promoter, reports Sovetsky Sport with reference to Sport.ard.de.

The name of the rival Valuev is not yet known. It is possible that Nikolai will meet with Owen Bek, who had previously read the Russian to rivals for the first protection of the title.

“I am again in shape and am ready to reach the ring. The first title defense is a very important event, because I pay maximum attention to training,” the champion said.

Recall that Nikolai Valuev won the WBA champion belt in mid -December 2005 in a duel with American John Ruis after a controversial decision of the judges.
