On the Russian side, the co -chair of the commission is Boris Aleshin. On the Brazilian side - General Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Samuel Pignier Himarens.
According to Aleshin, the work meeting will discuss the issues of cooperation between Russia and Brazil in the field of the banking sector, aircraft industry, and development of space.
He emphasized that the delegation has a special interest in the construction of aircraft with the Brazilian company Emmra and in the study of the Brazilian experience in the production of automobile engines.
“We have prepared several documents for signing regarding cooperation in the field of metrology, cooperation on securities markets. We will continue the dialogue about the development of trade and economic ties, ”said Aleshin.
The working meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation will be held within the framework of the visit of the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Fradkov to Brazil.
