In the fourth match of the semi -final series, Omsk Vanguard on its ice in overtime defeated the unconditional leader of the regular championship - Magnitogorsk Metallurg. Thus, Omsks closed a series ahead of schedule to three victories with a score of 3-1.
The winning puck 2 minutes 41 seconds before the end of the additional time abandoned the defender Sergei Gusev when realizing the numerical advantage. Artem Chubarov and defender Alexei Troshchinsky also distinguished themselves among the winners.
