
The Communists began in Moscow a procession in honor of the 61st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. At about 11:00, people, veterans, as well as representatives of left -wing parties began to gather on the Square of the Belorussky station. In addition to the Communists, representatives of the Vanguard Red Youth, National Bolsheviks, the Union of Communist Youth and other organizations are in the columns, in addition to the Communists.
The action started around 11:30. A military orchestra is at the head of the columns under the red flags, then - veterans of the Great Patriotic War, followed by the Communists, including the leader of the Communist Party of the Communist Party Gennady Zyuganov, representatives of the movement in support of the army, NBP, AKM and the Union of Soviet Officers, RIA Novosti reports.
The participants in the procession launched a banner with the slogan: “We will not give the victory - protect the Fatherland,” and the National Bolsheviks and activists of AKM chant: “Our Motherland - USSR”. Some carry portraits of Lenin and Stalin.
Enhanced security measures have been taken. The columns of AKM and the National Bolsheviks are taken into a dense ring by the fighters of riot police, who will accompany them along the entire procession.
However, there was no incident. Even before the procession of AKM representatives, they did not want to miss, and after half -hour negotiations, the Akaems made an attempt to break through the cordon ring of the Moscow riot police.
The route of the procession of the Communists passes along Tverskaya Street, along the 1st Tverskaya-Yamskaya, along the willing row to Lubyanskaya Square, where a rally will be held at the end of the march.
According to Interfax, a source in the law enforcement agencies of the capital, about 7,000 people participated at the beginning of the procession.
In total, about 16 thousand law enforcement officers, including military personnel of the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Moscow riot police, ensure security in Moscow.
