In the struggle for menial work

The Moscow City Duma opposed the new law “On Migration Registration of Foreign Citizens in the Russian Federation,” adopted by the State Duma in the first reading. Deputies do not want to make life easier for guest workers - after all, all these pieces of paper miraculously know how to turn into real money, flowing straight into the pockets of Moscow officials. So they intimidate the capital’s residents: they say that foreigners will take away all the work from Muscovites. But how many Muscovites have they seen, eager to stand behind the counter and take revenge on the sidewalks? Or are the deputies going to wash the floors and unload the cars themselves?
