In the city of Belogorsk, the Amur Region with signs of food poisoning, 20 children aged 8-14 years old-students of a local boarding school.

The press service of the regional department of the EMERCOM Interfax reported on Friday that on Thursday the boarding schools arranged a tea party with cakes in the Tom restaurant in honor of the Children's Day for children.

According to the interlocutor of the agency, after four hours 11 children felt badly, and they were taken to the hospital. Before dinner, nine more pupils of the boarding school complained about abdominal pain.

Doctors made the children preliminary diagnoses "Food toxicoinfection" and "acute gastroenteritis". The final diagnoses will be established after a laboratory study, the representative of the department noted.

The restaurant conducts a sanitary and epidemiological inspection. Doctors check the quality of products and sanitary conditions in the kitchen.
