The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Mikhail Kamynin said that if information about the ban on entry into Ukraine deputy of the State Duma Konstantin Zatulin is officially confirmed, Kyiv’s actions will be considered as a serious unfriendly step.

Commenting on the reports of the press secretary of the Security Council of Ukraine about the ban on entry into the country Zatulin, Kamynin said that the Russian Foreign Ministry in bewilderment from this statement, Interfax reports.

“If the specified information about the ban on the entry of the State Duma deputy will be confirmed to Ukraine, we will regard this as a serious unfriendly act in relation to the State Duma deputy, a well -known political scientist, a supporter of the development of genuinely friendly ties between Russia and Ukraine,” Kaminin emphasized.

He said that the Russian Embassy in Kyiv requested official explanations in the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry. “It seemed to us that the pluralism of opinions, the freedom of their comparison began to take root in Ukrainian society, contributing to the strengthening of democratic traditions in it. Apparently, this is still a matter of the future,” the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry emphasized.

Earlier, commenting on the decision of the State Duma deputy Konstantin Zatulin adopted on the eve of the Security Council of Ukraine on the lists of persons who are forbidden to enter Ukraine, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Vasily Filipchuk said that this decision is legal. “This decision is legal,” he told RIA Novosti .

At a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine on June 2, statements were heard that citizens of some foreign states, including Russia, took part in blocking Ukrainian transport routes and some other shares in Crimea, which is a violation of Ukrainian legislation and intervention in the internal affairs of Ukraine.

"It was decided to consider these points, and if such facts are recognized, citizens of these countries will be deported from the territory of Ukraine, and after considering the issue to the Foreign Ministry, they will be recognized as persons of non grata," said.
