On charges of drug and money laundering, the leadership of the film company Limelight Films was arrested, in which the granddaughter of the famous actor Charlie Chaplin Kaira Chaplin holds a leading position. This was reported to RIA Novosti in the press service of the US Drug Administration (DEA).

"As part of the two -year investigation of the international ecstasy and transportation of weapons, seven people were arrested, including the head of Limelight Films, David Lieberman and four more people from the leadership. Also arrested by Alexander de Basseville - a member of the Swiss financial and consulting company Adb Swiss SA, which belongs to the company Limelight Films, the press service said

According to the press service, according to some reports, de Basseville was engaged to Kaira Chaplin, the granddaughter of the famous actor Charlie Chaplin. The website of Limelight Films says that Kaira is part of the management of this company.

De Basseville was arrested in Arlington (Virginia) and accused of intention to trade ecstasy. Lieberman is accused of laundering money, the report said.
