On Pushkinskaya Square of the capital, a rally was held against the abolition of army delay

About 70 people protested on Pushkinskaya Square in Moscow on Saturday afternoon against the abolition of deferrals from drafting into the army, Interfax reports. The All -Russian protest was organized by the Republican Party of Russia (RPR) together with the Committee of Soldiers' Mothers and the ATP.

Speaking to the audience, the co -chair of the RPR, State Duma deputy Vladimir Ryzhkov said that the purpose of this action was to express his opinion on the law on the abolition of delayed by the State Duma.

In addition, according to him, the action was aimed at ensuring that the Federation Council votes against this bill and return it back to the State Duma.

Ryzhkov also noted that shares similar to the one in Moscow will take place in 27 regions of the country.

In turn, the chairman of the Committee of Soldiers' Mothers Valentina Melnikova told reporters: "The abolition of deferrals is a sign of the weakness of our military leadership."

In their hands, the participants in the action held numerous slogans against the abolition of the deferral: “Yes! - the cancellation of the call, no! - cancel the delay”, “Hands off the breadwinners”, “Enlightened Russia - a professional army”, “Do you support the transition to voluntary military service under the contract?”

In their hands, the participants in the action also held the flags of the organizers of the action - the "Union of Right Forces", the Republican Party of Russia, as well as the Committee of Soldiers' Mother.

The action lasted a little less than an hour. Safety was guarded by about ten police officers. There were no offenses.
