In Primorye, the raft with the children took to the sea

The operation to save children who were carried away to the sea on the raft is completed in Primorye.

According to RIA Novosti in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia in the Primorsky Territory, on Saturday the Racord wasland, a rescue raft carried out by the Rikord island. There were five children aged 11 to 13 years on the raft.

Initially, adults - the organizers of the amateur recreation camp - conducted searches on their own on boats. But when after three hours the searches did not give results, they began to alarm and at three in the morning reported an extraordinary incident to the operational duty officer of the Main Directorate of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in the Primorsky Territory.

“After the signal was accepted, a rescue group was promptly created. Four boats were released in search. They searched for children from the air with a helicopter. On Saturday 11:00 in the morning local time (04:00 Moscow time) children were found. They were in the Amur Gulf. All the children were alive. They were provided with the first aid,” the agency’s interlocutor said.

Children on boats were delivered to the shore, where they were waiting for ambulance cars.
