The election procedure of cities will be held from 11:00 to 14:30 Moscow time, the names of the Round President of the IOC Belgian Jacques Rogge will be called at 15:00. 15 members of the IOC executive committee, including Ukrainian Sergey Bubka, have the right to vote, ITAR-TASS reports.

The election procedure looks as follows. Based on the answers of the pre-persons to the Olympic questionnaire, for each of the eight points, an assessment is set on a 10-point scale, and points are of various importance for playing games. Then the estimates are summarized and, already based on the obtained table, the IOC executive committee determines the passage score. Leaders with the largest number of points take place in the final round, cities, whose lag from the finalists will be large from the struggle.

According to experts, in the current competition of cities, 3-4 cities have the right to continue the struggle, including Penchan (South Korea), Salzburg (Austria), Sochi (Russia), Sofia (Bulgaria). The remaining applicants are Haka (Spain), Alma -Ata (Kazakhstan) and Borjomi (Georgia).
