Earlier, the Palestinians presented the ultimatum to the Israeli authorities, demanding to release prisoners from prisons in exchange for the life of Gida Shalit. After the expiration of the ultimatum, which the Israelis rejected, the militants said that they would not kill Shalit, but Israel would not receive any information about their soldier.
