One of the founders of the Pink Floyd group, Sid Barrett, died

One of the founders of the legendary rock band Pink Floyd Sid Barrett died at the age of 60.

“He quietly left us two days ago,” the group representative said on Tuesday British BBC . According to him, "the funeral will be held in the presence of only the relatives of the deceased," Interfax reports.

Sida Barrett's guitarist invited another participant in the first composition of the group Roger Waters in Pink Floyd in 1965. However, Barrett recorded only one album with the team. In 1968, he left the group due to problems associated with drug abuse.

After the departure of Barrett with the help of Pink Floyd musicians, David Gilmore and Roger Waters, recorded several solo albums.

In recent years, Barrett suffered from diabetes and did not engage in music.
