EXHIBITIONS

"Whales of Season 2". As a continuation of last year's exhibition, Krokin Gallery again presents a unique hit parade of contemporary artists. The works of Konstantin Batynkov, Leonid Tishkov and Boris Bendikov, Alexander Gradoboev, Dmitry Tsvetkov, the FenSo project (Anton Smirsky and Vasily Smirnov), Hubertus van der Goltz, Nikolai Nasedkin, Olga Chernysheva, Sergei Kostrikov and the molitor&kuzmin project are presented. "Fine carpets and kalamkars in the art of the Muslim East." The carpet is one of the most important and interesting phenomena of Muslim art. For the first time, the exhibition from the museum's collection includes 35 carpets and ten kalamkars (painted curtains) from Iran, Azerbaijan and East Turkestan from the 17th to 20th centuries. Traditionally, Muslim art is characterized by ornamental and floral patterns.
