The theatrical and circus show based on Hoffmann’s fairy tale “The Nutcracker and the Mouse King” was staged by Andrei Moguchiy, leader of the St. Petersburg Formal Theater and director of the plays “Between a Dog and a Wolf”, “Pro Turandot” and others. EXHIBITIONS
“Live exhibition. Tsarskoe Selo visiting the Historical Museum." A joint project of the Historical Museum and the Tsarskoe Selo Museum-Reserve, dedicated to the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the Great Catherine Tsarskoe Selo Palace, built by Rastrelli. As part of the project, the Historical Museum presents each month one exhibit from the Tsarskoe Selo collection, surrounded by monuments of the era. A new exhibit of the exhibition project is a tabernacle from the Church of the Resurrection of the Great Tsarskoye Selo Palace. The tabernacle was created by the Prussian master Jacob Leonard Leo and decorated it with rich baroque decor: in addition to the lush floral ornament, it is decorated with cast figures of the evangelists. Until September 4.
"Andrey Karelin. Portrait in the interior." An exhibition of works by the famous artist, photographer and collector of Russian antiquities Andrei Osipovich Karelin (1837-1906) - one of the first masters of Russian light painting of the 19th century.
