A rare summer in our country does without economic disasters or, at worst, a crisis provoked by the government. This year there were two of them: alcoholic, which gradually developed into perfumery and pharmaceuticals, and traditional gasoline. Read about how the regions are coping with these difficulties in the materials of the correspondents of Novaya Gazeta.
Omsk
Deficit at counters and gas stations
After two weeks of alcoholic drought, Russian vodka returned to the shelves with the same price, while the popular Ukrainian-made drinks Nemiroff and Na Brunki went up by ten rubles.
The wine crisis is more acutely felt in the region. Omsk residents wince, stroking a domestic product called "Russian Vine", which is full of all outlets. Foreign wines, Spanish and French, have risen in price by an average of 20 rubles, that is, by 15%, which is quite sensitive for an ordinary city dweller, and even more so for a peasant.
In some Siberian regions, August was marked by a completely unexpected deficit at gas stations. At a number of Omsk gas stations since August 10, gasoline with octane numbers 96 and 98 have disappeared and do not appear to this day, although the refinery did not reduce their production. Lyudmila Sidorova, First Deputy General Director of OAO Sibneft-Omsknefteprodukt, explains this situation by the sharply increased demand for these types of gasoline in all regions where the ONPZ supplies them. At the same time, the oil company does not deprive its stations of scarce fuel. What will the antimonopoly service say about this? After all, Sibneft has a monopoly on the wholesale oil products market in the Omsk Region. According to statisticians, there is also a shortage of these types of gasoline in Tomsk and Barnaul.
On average, prices for liquid fuels in the Omsk region have not risen as high as in the nearest neighbors. For example, a liter of the most popular gasoline, AI-92, has risen in price from 17.5 to 18 rubles, AI-80 and AI-95 cost 14.5 and 18.5 rubles, while in Tyumen, respectively, 15.5 and 19 .5, and in Novosibirsk - 16 and 20.5. But in the coal regions, Yekaterinburg and Kemerovo, prices for petroleum products are significantly lower, which is not easy to explain from an economic point of view: after all, cars are fueled not with coal, but with gasoline.
Saratov
Wine consumer gone to drink beer
In Saratov, the range of alcoholic products has been reduced by 90 percent. Domestic vodka, a little Krasnodar and Stavropol wine and (in a single quantity) heroic bottles from Spain and Italy, which broke through the customs cordons, remained on the shelves. The general crisis in the province is exacerbated by the shutdown of local factories that produced products at the most affordable prices.
- The segment of the market that was engaged in transnational corporations will be the first to recover. "Hennesy", "Martini", "Johnny Walker" will appear in stores in early September. In two weeks, we shipped a three-month supply, - says Ilya Vinokurov, marketing director of the Prikup company. — The wine bag suffered the most. Bulgarian and Spanish wines under 100 rubles will never be on the shelf. In addition, imports from Bulgaria are now very limited - customs are looking for non-natural additives, etc.
Recent surveys show that people have not switched to the products of the Krasnodar Territory. The Moldovan consumer is gone to drink beer.
As merchants say, domestic vodka will most easily endure the crisis: the price will rise by five percent. Russian wine will rise in price from the beginning of next year by 15-20 percent (vineyards froze over in February, plus increased demand), imported wine - by 10-40 percent.
On the equipment for EGAIS (Unified State Automated Information System), wholesale firms spent an average of a thousand dollars (manufacturers and importers - an order of magnitude more). But the system doesn't work. The goods with all the necessary documents come from the capital importer to the regional distributor, but the electronic confirmation does not come - and you can not sell the products.
- Not enough information. So Presidents Voronin and Putin met, so what? Does EGAIS now work for Moldova or only for the domestic market? No hearing, no spirit. The Ministry of Taxes and Taxes insists that readers be installed in retail as well. For example, in the general store of the village of Sbrodovka, Saratov District, where one hundred old people live and earn 50 rubles a day. If they still restrict trade until 23.00, what will people drink? - Petr Ivanchenko, head of the regional ministry of economy, is perplexed.
The ministry calls the situation on the Saratov alcohol market “ambiguous”. Sales volumes fell by eight percent. Of the 3,000 licensed liquor sellers in the region, 1,200 remain. Many more are considering shutting down the business as soon as they figure out what to do with the leftovers.
And Saratov motorists have a new habit: to collect checks for gasoline. The collection is indignantly shown to the fellows in the garage: in a week, fuel can rise in price by 60 kopecks per liter at once.
Previously, as car owners recall, the price changed by 50 kopecks a year. This summer, in August alone, the cost of the AI-92 increased by a ruble - from 17.3 to 18.3 rubles.
Saratov residents increasingly prefer AI-98. Since the spring, this brand has risen in price by two rubles, which is at least not so noticeable relative to its initially high cost, and the car feels better on the elite “stern”. Now a liter of the 98th is sold in the city for 20-20.8 rubles. at gas stations of large companies.
Saint Petersburg
Psychological milestone of 20 rubles. per liter of gasoline successfully overcome
Closer to autumn, motorists were once again convinced: gasoline prices have risen. Here are descriptions of just some of the new price tags at gas stations in St. Petersburg in August.
In August, LUKOIL-North-West raised prices for AI-80, AI-92 by
20 kopecks, AI-95 - 30 kopecks. The cost of a liter of AI-80 varies from 13.70 to 15.20 rubles. per liter, AI-92 - from 16.70 to 18.50 rubles. per liter, AI-95 - from 18.50 to 20.30 rubles.
"Kirishiavtoservis" raised the price of A-76 by 34 kopecks, AI-92 - by 23 kopecks, AI-96 - by 33 kopecks. Cost per liter
A-76 varies from 14.10 to 14.50 rubles. per liter, AI-92 - from 17.10 to 17.90 rubles. per liter
AI-96 - from 18.30 to 18.90 rubles.
The Neste company raised the price of the A-76 by 20 kopecks,
AI-92 - for 30 kopecks, AI-95 - for 30 kopecks. On average, the cost of a liter of A-76 is 15.67 rubles, AI-92 - 18.44 rubles, AI-95 - 20.14 rubles.
Slavneft raised prices at city filling stations for AI-80 and AI-92 by 10 kopecks, and for AI-95 by 20 kopecks. On average, the cost of a liter of AI-80 is 13.77 rubles, AI-92 - 17.12 rubles, AI-95 - 18.36 rubles.
It is easy to see that the psychological barrier - 20 rubles per liter - is generally successfully overcome, if we talk about the 95th gasoline used in most foreign cars.
Unpleasant surprises still await lovers of alcohol. Although the shelves of the wine departments are gradually beginning to fill up, in contrast to the emptiness that was observed in early July, the assortment of spirits clearly leaves much to be desired. At the same time, prices, as it was not difficult to assume, are rising. Liquor dealers estimate the average increase in alcohol prices by September at about 15%.
Krasnoyarsk
Gone iodine and hairspray
Gasoline over the past two months has risen in price in Krasnoyarsk by an average of 1.9 rubles. per litre. The most popular, the 92nd, is from 17.50 to 19.20. AI-80 now costs 15.40 per liter, AI-96 - 20 rubles. In Krasnoyarsk, a rally of car owners was held against the increase in fuel prices. Moreover, representatives of the regional authorities expressed their full solidarity with the protesters. These actions had no consequences.
As for the alcohol market, it cannot be said that the crisis engineered by the government caused mass indignation, but bewilderment is still noted. Vodka, good, until it ends. And it didn't even go up. But the middle class felt the absence of Jack Daniels and Chablis Grand Crus in the country. From the imported assortment - recently appeared Chilean wines, as well as strong drinks and liqueurs made in Europe. Prices have risen about two times compared to the pre-crisis June. The range is still very limited.
But the reform did not work precisely, hitting both the pharmaceutical market (in Krasnoyarsk pharmacies there is now a shortage of all inexpensive alcohol-containing drugs, up to sanitary napkins and iodine - there is 5% alcohol), and perfumery and cosmetics. Entrepreneurs who sold products containing more than 1.5 percent ethyl alcohol (such as mascara and hairspray) are looking for other jobs. And the same hair sprays are now simply not to be found in Krasnoyarsk. They are available only in hairdressing salons that work directly with foreign suppliers and buy very expensive goods in small bulk.
