The hurricane "John" in the Pacific Ocean is gaining strength and threatens at least 800 thousand inhabitants of the Mexican coast.

According to the National Meteorological Service of Mexico, on Wednesday the hurricane reached the fourth category on the five-point Suffira-Simpson scale. This means that in the epicenter of a hurricane the maximum wind speed is 249 kilometers per hour.

On Wednesday, John at a speed of about 19 kilometers per hour moved along the coast of the Mexican state Herrero to the north-west and brought to the acapouco resort, a strong storm and pouring rains.
