Solonik killer received 22 years

A member of the "Orekhovo-Medvedkovsky" criminal group Andrei Pylev was sentenced to 22 years in prison in a maximum security colony, Interfax reports. The jury found him guilty of organizing the murder of the famous killer Alexander Solonik and his girlfriend Svetlana Kotova. Pyrev did not admit his guilt.

The accusation asked for dust 23 years in prison.

According to the investigation, the “Orekhovo-Medvedkovskaya” criminal group was created in Moscow in the early 1990s. Her leaders were the brothers Oleg and Andrei Pollev. Subsequently, the group broke into two parts - “Orekhovskaya” and “Medvedkovskaya”. Last year, 10 members of the group were convicted, who were accused of killing 18 people, creating a criminal community, banditry and extortion. They received terms from 8.5 to 24 years in prison.
