Medvedev invited entrepreneurs and officials to discuss the issue of increasing property tax for apartment owners. But taking into account the trends that exist today, and the need to quickly move in this direction (housing construction), I think we could return to discussing a tax topic, see the options, including the idea of ​​increasing property tax, not Prediting the decisions that will be made, ”Medvedev said.

Many participants in the meeting supported the idea of ​​increasing apartments tax. According to the chairman of the all -Russian public organization "Business Russia" Boris Titov, property tax should be differentiated depending on the amount of housing in the property and its value. “This is necessary to remove excessive speculative demand in the market. In Moscow, up to 50 percent of apartments are bought in Moscow today. It is necessary that people are less profitable to invest in housing. And those who have one normal apartment, or should not pay tax at all, or must pay no more than now,” Titov said.
