The Russian government is preparing proposals for the creation of an aviation board. Its main task should be the coordination of the activities of federal executive bodies on the functioning of the aviation industry and aviation. This was announced on Wednesday by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergey Ivanov at an expanded meeting of the College of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, which discusses issues of the state and development of civil aviation in Russia.

According to Ivanov, the work is difficult and intense. "She will require coordinated efforts and government, aircraft manufacturers, and air carriers," the Deputy Prime Minister said. He noted that in a short time, "within the framework of a single plan, it is necessary to determine the list of priority measures, the terms and cost of their implementation," Interfax reports.

Speaking about the tasks that require an immediate solution, Ivanov said that in relation to the current air park, it is necessary to form an approximate schedule for the withdrawal of aircraft out of operation both by years and by the types of aircraft.

“Then it is necessary to conduct a detailed test of existing developments in the field of civil aircraft engine - experimental and serial - on the subject of their compliance with Russian and international standards. This must be done by all types of aircraft - long, medium- and close -range. This stage of work is very important,” Ivanov said.

According to him, the adoption of subsequent decisions depends on her. "Including, about serial production, further research and construction work, conducting state tests and certification of aircraft," said Deputy Prime Minister.

According to Ivanov, one of the main causes of accident rate in aviation remains the "human factor". He stated this today at an expanded meeting of the College of the Ministry of Transport.

“The analysis of the situation shows that, despite the wear of aircraft, one of the main causes of the accident still remains the so-called human factor. This means that the lack of professionalism,” the Deputy Prime Minister said. - By the way, catastrophes of civilian aircraft that occurred this year also testify to this. "

According to Ivanov, "at present, the content and volume of training of aviation personnel in educational institutions of civil aviation do not comply with the needs of aviation enterprises. Therefore," it is necessary to take radical measures to improve the quality of such training. "" I believe that in this work it is impossible to save on fuel or on the resource of aircraft.
