
The Russian Prosecutor General’s Office announced the identification of violations of the legislation on the State Civil Service in the Federal Customs Service (FCS). This was reported on the website of the Prosecutor General.
According to the site, more than 100 civil servants and customs officers did not provide certificates of income and property for 2005, which violates the requirements of the law.
In addition, as the Prosecutor General’s Office states, a competitive selection of employees is not carried out at the FCS. The requirements for the level of education or work experience are also violated.
Verification of the implementation of the legislation on the civil service in the FCS was carried out by the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation in August - September of this year, the report said.
