Gorky Park administration is trying to disrupt the week of fashion

The Russian Fashion Week (RFW), the opening of which is scheduled for the next Wednesday in Gorky Park, is on the verge of breakdown. According to Gazeta.ru, the park administration for no explanation forbidden installation work at the RFW site at the central entrance of Gorky Park, blocked the entrance of trucks with equipment, turned off the RFW pavilion, from electricity, water and sewage.

Meanwhile, the holding of the fashion week and conducting all work was agreed with the Moscow authorities: there is an order of the prefecture of the Central Administrative District of Moscow on the holding of a Russian fashion week in Gorky Park. In addition, the contract between the Artifact agency and the Park Directorate is violated.

In connection with what happened, on October 12, a press conference of the organizers of the RFW Alexander Shumsky and Yuri Basin will be held at the gates of the Culture Park.

The Russian Fashion Week is the only fashion event in Russia, recognized at the international level. From October 18 to 25, 65 designers from 10 countries of the world should take part in it. RFW is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Mass Communications.
