| A west-east transfer of air masses has established over the European territory of Russia. Atlantic cyclones, following the northern regions of Russia, reliably block the path of Arctic air to the Russian Plain. And with the western and southwestern winds, they generously supply the Atlantic heat accumulated over the summer. Thus, on October 24, temperature records were broken in a number of cities in European Russia. On Thursday, the northwestern regions will be between two cyclones - the old one, which goes to the north of Siberia, and the new one, which is off the Baltic coast. Therefore, rains are expected only at night, and without them during the day, +3...+8оС. The middle zone will be stormed by the atmospheric front of the Atlantic cyclone, so it will not be possible without rain; in the central regions +6...+13оС.
In the capital at night +9...+11оС, during the day light rain, +9...+11оС, western, north-western wind, 4--9 m/s.
In St. Petersburg there is light rain, temperature at night +2...+4оС, during the day +5...+7оС.
In most of the European territory of Russia, due to fluctuations in basic meteorological parameters, the well-being of weather-sensitive people may worsen. It will be especially difficult for people suffering from hypertension, vegetative-vascular dystonia, cerebral atherosclerosis, or those who have had a heart attack or stroke. Due to increased air humidity against a background of fairly high air temperatures, conditions of weather hypoxia will form. Reduced oxygen content in the air can cause negative reactions, especially in people with chronic oxygen deficiency, suffering from coronary heart disease or bronchial asthma. An additional negative factor these days will be the turbulent geomagnetic background. Experts recommend that both sick and even healthy people reduce physical and mental stress as much as possible.
