Sitronics turns the production of electrical goods

The Russian IT-concert Sitronics turns the production of mass electrical goods and begins the reorganization of the unprofitable unit of consumer electronics, Kommersant writes on Friday.

According to the president of the concern Yevgeny Utkin, the concern completely stops the release of small household appliances and computers. Sitronics will no longer produce inexpensive electronics of mass demand: car radio, elt televisors, etc.

A set of consumer products of the concern will be limited to televisions with liquid crystalline screens, certain types of portable electronics (cell phones and MP3 players), DVD players, prefixes for receiving a paid television signal, as well as audio equipment of the HI-END class.
