Bakiev: The opposition is preparing a coup

The head of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiev claims that representatives of the opposition are preparing a coup d'etat. According to Ferghana.ru, the president has already handed out the documents of the conspiracy to the deputies of the parliament.

As the country's Prime Minister Felix Kulov told reporters, early in the morning of November 3, the unknown person handed over to the presidential security a compact disc, which records conversations of a number of deputies and public figures, exposing, according to Kulov, their participation in the conspiracy.

According to Kulov, oppositionists plan to seize administrative buildings and other important facilities: in particular, the building of the state television company, the city hall, the service of national security, the prosecutor's office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

According to the prime minister, "we are talking about an attempt to seize some settlements and raise the people."

Representatives of the opposition refute these accusations, reports Akipress. According to the co -chair of the Asaba party, Rosa Otunbaeva, the authorities of the republic make such statements "to intimidate the people."

Meanwhile, in Bishkek, an unlimited opposition rally has been going on since yesterday. The leadership of the state television and radio company Kyrgyzstan agreed to transfer the requirements of the protesters on the air, RIA Novosti reports.

According to the leaders of the opposition, going to the protesters, blocking the building of the GRK, at the end of the negotiations, the leadership of the television company promised the opposition that their requirements would be announced live on Friday between 19.00 and 22.00 local time (17.00 - 20.00 Moscow time).

Oppositionists once again called on the participants in the action to observe calm. After that, the column of the protesters moved back to the central square of Bishkek. Meanwhile, on Ala-Too Square is now from seven to ten thousand people. People from the regions of the republic continue to arrive there.

The protesters demand the resignation of the president and the head of government, as well as the constitutional reform, which will limit the powers of the president and make the Kyrgyzstan the Presidential and Parliamentary Republic.
