“In the last days, Andrei was put on a diet,” his sister Natalya Loseva told the Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper. The fact is that Sychev began to gain weight without movement. Now every morning he is squeezed from a special chair 11 - 15 times: he trains his hands to independently move from a wheelchair to a bed. Unfortunately, he cannot yet fully use the prostheses. In a week without training, the stumps changed their shape and stopped placing in the sleeves of prostheses. The Germans took them to the alteration.

The other day, another soldier lay down on the hospital’s operating table - Andrei Rudenko from Chita . Like Sychev, he also lost his feet due to bullying in the army.

The incident with ordinary Andrei Sychev occurred on the night of January 1, 2006.
