In the western part of the Moscow region, on Tuesday evening, an energy -starting occurred, entailing a disconnection of the five power transmission lines with a voltage of 110 square meters, the RAO UES of Russia reported. The movement of electric trains from Moscow in the Smolensk and Kiev directions was temporarily interrupted.

According to RAO, at about 18:00 Moscow time due to the operation of emergency automation, the power transmission line from Kaluga with a voltage of 110 square meters was disconnected. Following it from the nodal substations, four more lines of the same voltage were disconnected-Kubinka-Kedrovo, Odintsovo-Daryino, Kedrovo-Naro-Fominsk, Kubinka-Manikhino. At the same time, the “repayment” of the five substations - “Golitsyno”, “Kubinka”, “Naro -Fominsk”, “Darino” and “Odintsovo” occurred. All these lines and substations belong to OJSC "Moscow United electric grid company" - "Daughter" RAO UES.

The power supply of consumers in the west of the Moscow Region, interrupted due to the accident on the power lines, is fully restored, the power supply of part of the consumers is carried out according to the reserve scheme, later in the evening in RAO reported.

The reasons for the energy -starting have not yet been established. According to the representative of the energy holding, energy sector examines the tracks to find out the causes of the accident, one of the versions of the incident is external mechanical impact. “The accident is neither systemic nor cascading. The situation is observed and controlled,” the energy holding emphasized.

“The western direction is the most overloaded. It is no coincidence that it is at these substations that it is planned to install mobile gas turbine installations (GTUs),” the representative of the RAO told Interfax. “The first mobile GTU will be installed in December Darino, the most overloaded substation. According to RAO "UES", the energy service did not affect the work of the Vnukovo Airport.

The last time a large-scale accident in the energy system of the Moscow region occurred on May 24-25, 2005 . Then, as a result of the fire, a fan shutdown of electricity occurred at the Moscow substation of Chagino, as a result of which the south of Moscow and part of the Moscow Region, as well as several regions in the Tula and Kaluga regions, was de -energized.
