In most of the European territory of Russia, the weather is determined by a powerful Atlantic cyclone. Warm and humid air, formed in the Mediterranean Sea, enters the western and northwestern regions along with the southern winds. After the recent slight frosts, it has become noticeably warmer in the center of European Russia. The border of snow cover on European territory now runs north of St. Petersburg, along the east of the Tver region, where there is 3-5 cm of snow, along the western border of the Moscow region (in Moscow itself there is only 3 cm of snow left), along the western border of the Ryazan and Lipetsk regions, in the snow Tambov region and the north of the Voronezh region, then the border turns east, to the banks of the Volga. Heavy precipitation in the form of snow as the cold atmospheric fronts of the cyclone moved to the south of Western Siberia passed through was observed at the end of last week in the North Caucasus.
In Moscow, cloudy during the day, drizzle and fog in places, visibility 300--500 m. Conditions for sleet, ice, temperature +1...+3оС, in the region -1...+4оС, south-west wind, 3-- 8 m/s.
In St. Petersburg there is light rain in the morning, mostly rainless in the afternoon, and fog in places in the evening. Daytime temperature +4...+6оС.
In the central regions the weather is quite typical for these days in November. Air temperature and atmospheric pressure are close to the climate norm. For most people, such weather should not cause noticeable meteopathic reactions. However, increased air humidity may cause poor health in people suffering from chronic inflammatory diseases of the respiratory system. The geomagnetic background today is forecast to be calm.
