22 Georgian citizens were deported from Russia

On Wednesday, a group of Georgian citizens who were illegally located on Russian territory was deported from Russia, Konstantin Poltohnoinin, spokeswoman for the Federal Migration Service, told RIA Novosti .

Recall that transport communication between Russia and Georgia has been suspended since the beginning of October 2006. Therefore, Georgian citizens were sent to Baku with a regular flight.

The Office of the Federal Migration Service (FMS) since early October began the mass deportation of Georgian citizens.

At the same time, they assured the FMS that no order was received for the delay of Georgian citizens.

The Georgian criminal authorities and just merchants fell. The activities of several casinos located in Moscow were suspended: Golden Palace , Golden Palace Weekend , Crystal Cultural and Entertainment and Cosmos Casino . The Genatsval restaurant and Conti casino in St. Petersburg were also closed.

However, by the end of October, all these institutions resumed their work.

In total, according to November 1, since the beginning of October 2006, Moscow courts expelled more than 1,300 illegal Georgian migrants from Russia. "In 99% of cases, the courts decide on the expulsion of those citizens who violated the migration legislation. A very insignificant part of the materials on the expulsion of violators represented by law enforcement agencies is returned to the recovery," said Anna Usacheva, spokeswoman for the Moscow City Court.
