In Buenos Aires, a Russian film crew is robbed, ITAR-TASS reports. The Lennachfilm film studio from St. Petersburg held a documentary film on the history of Argentine tango in Buenos Aires.
The director of the picture, Natalya Kamenetskaya, said that in the Argentine capital, unknown people attacked the film crew during the day. The criminals, threatening the driver of a minibus, forced him to give him bags with equipment and immediately disappeared.
As a result of the robbery, all professional audio and video equipment that the group brought with them was stolen. Fortunately, no one was injured: at the time of the robbery, Russian filmmakers were not in the car itself, but stood nearby.
“We shot a lot in Latin America, where there were some incidents,” said Kamenetskaya ITAR -TASS, “but the situation that happened in Argentina absolutely discouraged us.”
Russians hope that local authorities will help to find attackers and return the equipment, because the purpose of their work was that the inhabitants of our country learn as much as possible about the history and culture of Argentina.
