EBRR will give 100 million euros for the production of Superjet 100 aircraft

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will provide the Russian company “Sukhoi Civil Aircraft” Credit of 100 million euros for the development of the production of the regional passenger aircraft Superjet 100, the bank said. These funds will be used, in particular, for the purchase of equipment, launching the production of liners and organizing their sale. The regional passenger aircraft Superjet 100 is developed by Sukhoi Civil Aircraft in cooperation with a number of foreign companies. The first aircraft of this series, according to plans, will be made in September 2007.
