The December issue of Russian Forbes was supposed to come out with an article about Elena Baturina. But Luzhkov’s wife did not like the inscription on the cover: “I am guaranteed protection.” Baturina threatened Forbes with a lawsuit - and the entire printed edition was destroyed, Kommersant reports. In an interview with the magazine, Baturina said: “Like any investor, I am guaranteed protection.” The truncated quote on the cover is, of course, slightly ambiguous. But I think it wasn’t the lawsuit that scared us. Because it is most likely almost impossible to prove that this is a lie.
