Positive. The hand does not rise to bonfire “Quiet Don”. Although I personally didn’t like the film, its appearance on Channel One after such a dramatic creation story became an indisputable event. The picture, sometimes too popular, caused not only debate among viewers about which of Sergei Bondarchuk’s heroes is more like Sholokhov’s characters and which is not, but also returned interest in the wonderful novel. It is gratifying that it is literary classics, retold in the language of television, that evoke the most violent emotions in society (the showing of “Quiet Don” was accompanied by indignant letters from Cossacks, newspapers devoted entire pages to discussing the film), so I will look forward to the next classic television delights.

The project “Our Russia” (TNT) shows not only humor unusual for TV, but also how, in a relaxed entertainment shell without mentioning names, passwords and appearances, you can draw the attention of viewers who can read between the lines to the cynicism of the Russian authorities, “caring for the people” both in the sauna and in the restaurant.

Reporters and editors of NTV news, who did speak, albeit separated by commas, about the “Russian March” that took place in Moscow on November 4, when all other federal channels were trumpeting about charitable events, worship services and good deeds, apparently designed to unite the people. Alas, on today's TV this is considered a feat.

The best information presenter of 2006 according to the Academy of Russian Television, Andrei Norkin, who thanked the creators of NTV Vladimir Gusinsky and Igor Malashenko upon receiving “TEFI” and received a standing ovation.

Negative. TV viewers did not see this because the STS channel, which broadcast “TEFI” with a time delay, cut out Norkin’s gratitude. The names of the hero-censors are known only to the general director of the channel, Alexander Rodnyansky. They did not dare to remember the creators of NTV during the reception in the Kremlin on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Russian television. You can’t remove words from a song, but it turns out that it’s easy to remove words from a story!

Television scams that have proliferated on the night air on TNT (“Night Games”), and on REN TV (“Money on Call”), and on MTV (“Catch Your Luck”), exploiting the thirst for easy money and pumping money out of the gullible through SMS viewers, do not develop domestic television, but are led into a creative dead end. But the business, judging by the dominance of this “format,” is very profitable.

“TV Center” will not forgive the closure of “Open Project” - one of the few programs of the Oleg Poptsov era that organically fits into the new concept of rejuvenating the channel’s audience.
