Khakamada: the pension system is turned into a distribution

“The insurance pension system is actually turned into a distribution system. The insurance system cannot be implemented with an opaque economy and black salaries,” said Irina Khakamada, president of the Our Choice, during a round table according to the results and prospects of pension reform.

During the meeting, issues related to the results of pension reform were discussed: the functioning of insurance mechanisms and the funded pension system, as well as the level of tax tariffs for the employer. The meeting was attended by representatives of public organizations, business representatives, representatives of public movements, as well as the chairman of the Russian People's Democratic Union movement Mikhail Kasyanov.

Kasyanov noted that "pension reform is not primarily due to the inability to pursue the right economic policy in connection with the wrong domestic policy in general." “This is a problem not of pension reform, but those bodies that are engaged in economic policy and the problem of the general domestic policy of the state,” Kasyanov said.
