
The territory of the Moscow Metallurgical Plant "Serp and Hammer" will be built up with offices and shopping and entertainment centers with a total area of 370 thousand square meters, Interfax reports.
The building will be carried out by the Kuznetsk Bridge Development company, which intends to invest more than $ 300 million in the project. It is expected that on the site on the highway enthusiasts will be built the largest shopping and office complex with parking zones within the third transport ring.
The implementation of the project will begin in 2007, and it is supposed to complete all work in 2009.
It is not planned to build housing at the plant, although it was previously proposed to create the so -called loft - apartments without interior partitions with an area of 500 to 1000 square meters from the plants.
"Sickle and Hammer" is one of the oldest plants in Moscow. The cost per square meter of factory squares is currently about 1800 dollars.
