Although housing prices in the capital are closer to winter, an apartment for the average Muscovite is still inaccessible. In order to turn the situation, the Moscow government has developed an action plan to provide citizens with housing, New Izvestia reports.
To hope that in the foreseeable perspective, the prices of apartments will drop sharply is pointless. In these conditions, there is a real danger that housing will not be available to most Muscovites. Nevertheless, the capital's authorities do not remove the "apartment issue" from the agenda. According to Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov, there are several ways to solve the housing problem. “Firstly, we must significantly strengthen the construction of housing in the interests of Muscovites. Secondly, the city should finance the construction of profitable houses, since the city, most likely, will not be able to agree on its municipal interests - about the levels of payments in such houses, so that they can be pulled by Muscovites with an average salary,” he said.
However, there are citizens who simply do not have money to buy even the cheapest housing. Therefore, in the plan there is another important point. “It is important to solve the problem of the waiting list,” the mayor emphasized. “There are mobilizing norms here: to reach the level of municipal housing to the townspeople, gradually reducing the indicator to five years. Despite the obvious superpiration of this task, the capital's government needs to move in the direction of reducing the deadlines.” And in parallel, the city will stimulate the creation of partnerships of homeowners. “If we do not take a step on their widespread creation, we will not be able to transfer budget city subsidies to them - 32 billion rubles. And the money will be again at Dezov as a bread bon,” Yuri Luzhkov said.
According to the head of the Department of Housing Policy and the Housing Fund of Moscow, Peter Saprykin, the purpose of the medium -term housing program "Muscovites - Affordable Housing", by 2010 to reduce the apartment accessibility of the apartment up to seven years for all social groups of citizens. At the same time, the target is set to reduce the number of waiting list by reducing the maximum waiting period for the apartment up to 10 years, and the queue is up to 100 thousand families.
