An earthquake occurred in Dagestan

In Dagestan on Thursday morning an earthquake occurred. According to RIA Novosti, this was stated by the head of the seismic station Makhachkala Natalya Ponomareva.

According to her, the power of shocks in the epicenter was five points, in Makhachkala - three points.

The focus of the earthquake was 113 kilometers from Makhachkala at the bottom of the Caspian Sea at a depth of not more than 15 kilometers.

According to the American Mezhuniyuni -Vynettes Seismological Center, the earthquake occurred at 06.58 Moscow time. Its magnitude was 5.1 points.
