Banker's lawyer Frenkel says that he is not allowed to meet with the client

Banker’s lawyer Alexei Frenkel, suspected of organizing the murder of the first deputy chairman of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation Andrei Kozlov, says that he is hindered in a meeting with his client.

“Neither on Friday, nor Saturday, nor on Sunday, I could not meet with Frenkel in the isolator. Here the score is for minutes. We cannot fulfill the court decision and collect the necessary evidence,” said RIA Novosti Igor Trunov, representing the interests of Frenkel.

According to him, all actions must be coordinated with the client, but this is not possible.

"Tomorrow, the president of the Moscow International Monetary Exchange, Alexei Mamontov, will come to the Basmanny Court. He is ready to give a personal guarantee," Trunov emphasized.

On Monday, the Basmanny Court must consider the application of the Prosecutor General’s Office to issue a sanction for the arrest of Frenkel, who was detained on the night of January 11 as the alleged customer of the murder of Kozlov.
