
Two people died in Sweden as a result of a hurricane wind, which fell on the territory of Scandinavia last night, ITAR-TASS reports. The victims of the hurricane were a 9-year-old boy and 60-year-old men, noted in the Swedish police.
Due to the strong wind today, the railway message between Oslo and the West of Sweden was temporarily suspended. Storm winds affected the western and southern parts of the Norwegian coast, as well as the southwestern territory of Sweden.
Local authorities recommended residents not to leave their houses in the coming hours. In certain areas of Norway, breaks of power networks occurred, as a result of which no one was injured.
Meanwhile, in Sweden, the hurricane wind left more than 100 thousand houses without electricity, as well as the railway station of the second largest in the city of Sweden - Gotyrog. At the same time, a number of ferry crossings between Norway, Sweden and Denmark were temporarily canceled.
